    Locum Tenens OBGYN Need in WA

    Coverage Details

    • Schedule: ASAP; ongoing. Clinic Mon–Thurs 8a–5p, Fri 8a–12p; call 7a–7a; full-time clinic and call coverage (minimum 3 months)
    • Patients per shift/day: Clinic 20–22
    • Coverage type: Scheduled clinical hours plus call
    • Call details: Beeper call; 30-minute response time; call ratio 1:3; ~12 phone consults; ~5 patients seen; 2–5 admissions; Certified Nurse Midwives take 1st call
    • Practice setting: Inpatient and outpatient; rounding required

    Requirements

    • State license: Washington license or IMLC
    • Board/certification: Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology; fellowship preferred
    • Privileges/credentialing: Hospital privileges required; temporary privileges available for clean background and completed application
    • Life support: ACLS and BLS required; NRP and Fetal Heart Monitoring required
    • Admissions: Yes

    Clinical Details

    • EMR: McKesson and Athena
    • Trauma level: Level 3
    • Support/staffing: RN (2), MA (3), Office staff (7); no APP supervision; resident/teaching supervision required
    • Procedures/scope: Low- and high-risk pregnancy; FHR interpretation; OB ultrasound (Level I/II); routine and complicated vaginal deliveries; C-sections; instrument-assisted deliveries; VBAC; breech and multiples; 3rd/4th degree laceration repair; office/minor GYN; open and laparoscopic surgical GYN
