Coverage Details

• Schedule: Start 05-28-2026; ongoing. 5/28 (8a–4p orientation); 5/29 (7a)–6/1 (7a); 7/24 (7a)–7/27 (7a); additional ongoing assignments. 24-hour in-house call, all-inclusive
• Patients per shift/day: 4.3 patients/day; average 8 calls per 24 hours (~55/week)
• Coverage type: Scheduled clinical hours plus call
• Call details: 24-hour in-house call; respond to ED and L&D within 10 minutes; arrival within 30 minutes when required; attending must see patient within 12 hours of admission
• Practice setting: Inpatient; rounding on assigned and unassigned patients

• State license: Michigan license required (no IMLC)
• Board/certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Privileges/credentialing: Temporary privileges not available; estimated credentialing 60 days

• Trauma level: Level 2
• Support/staffing: RN (6–8/day); no APP supervision; resident/teaching supervision required (FM residents and 3rd/4th year medical students)
• Procedures/scope: Low- and high-risk pregnancy; FHR interpretation; OB ultrasound (Level I/II); routine and complicated vaginal deliveries; C-sections; breech, multiples, abruptions; VBACs; 3rd/4th degree laceration repair; office/minor GYN; open and laparoscopic surgical GYN
