Coverage Needed
- October 2 - November 2
- Schedule: 7am-7am
- Active Idaho license
- Clean background/no malpractice
- Successful completion of ACGME or AOA accredited residency and CT fellowship program
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- American Board of Surgery or American Board of Thoracic Surgery certification, or obtain certifications within 3 years of employment
- ACLS
- Obtain privileges at SARMC - Boise and other health system affiliated hospitals as needed
- 1 CT Surgery dedicated OR
- 4 available PAs rotate to support surgeon in OR
- Patient Population: Adult/Geriatric
- TAVR & SAVR: YES, around 3 patient consults per day; and 1-2 surgeries per day
- Required Procedures: Adult cardiac surgery, General thoracic surgery, Aortic dissection, CABG, Tube thoracostomy, Pericardial window, Thoracotomy lung resections and pneumonectomy, Heart valve repair/replacement surgery, Dissection, VA + VV ECMO placement
