    Locum Tenens Full Time Radiologist needed in SC

    Coverage Details

    • Schedule: Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
    • Coverage type: Scheduled clinical hours plus call
    • Call details: Weekdays 4:30 PM–8:00 AM; weekend call 4:30 PM Friday–8:00 AM Monday; call assigned weekly; phone response within 15 minutes; onsite response within 60 minutes if required
    • Practice setting: Onsite coverage required

    Requirements

    • State license: Active, full, and unrestricted MD or DO license in any U.S. state
    • Board/certification: Board Certified in Radiology (American Board of Radiology)
    • Privileges/credentialing: Must comply with facility medical staff bylaws and VA regulations; proof of education, training, and certifications required
    • Life support: ACLS and BLS required
    • Other requirements: Active DEA registration; active NPI number; clear OIG status; Authorized User (AU) status preferred; fluent in English

    Clinical Details

    • Support/staffing: Provide consultation to referring providers; participate in peer review, QA/QI, and required staff meetings
    • Procedures/scope: Diagnostic Radiology, Ultrasound, CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, and Interventional Radiology procedures; review consults and next-day cases (minimum two hours daily); post-procedure evaluation and follow-up; subspecialty experience may include Abdominal/GU, Breast Imaging, Cardiovascular, General, Interventional, Musculoskeletal, and Neuroradiology; approximately 95% direct patient care and 5% administrative duties
