    Coverage Details

    • Schedule: 24-hour shifts; program start ASAP
    • Patients per shift/day: Estimated 251 patient encounters per month (excluding deliveries); ~44 deliveries per month managed by hospitalists
    • Coverage type: Scheduled clinical hours plus call
    • Practice setting: Inpatient Labor & Delivery coverage
    • Program details: GYN coverage required; hospitalists back up midwives and family practice providers; additional backup available to hospitalists

    Requirements

    • Board/certification: Board Certified required

    Clinical Details

    • EMR: Epic
    • Support/staffing: Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) onsite; in-house anesthesia available; hospitalist backup structure in place
    • Procedures/scope: Obstetric and gynecologic coverage including deliveries and management of inpatient OB/GYN cases
    • Facility details: Level II NICU; approximately 124 total hospital deliveries per month
