Job Details:

Schedule
- Orientation: One day
- Start Date: As soon as credentialed
- Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
- Call Schedule: Alternating weekly call rotation; call starts Friday at 5PM and ends the following Friday at 8AM
Case Load & Procedures
- Daily Case Volume: Approximately 35-50 cases
- Resposibilities: Gross your own specimens, Perform frozen section cuts using a Cryostat
- Key Procedures: Hematology, Microbiology, Chemistry/Serology, and Blood Bank
- Specific Expertise: Must be proficient in GI biopsies, breast biopsies, and neuropathology
- Neurosurgical Focus: Frequent frozen section requests, both during regular hours and on call
- Anatomic Pathology Procedures: Surgical Pathology, GI Pathology, GU Pathology, Neuropathology, Dermatopathology, Hematopathology, Cytology
Clinical Support
- Team: You will work alongside one full-time pathologist
- Support Staff: Histotechnologists on-site
Technology
- EMR: Allscripts Sunrise
- Dictation Tool: NovoPath
Requirements
- Experience: Prior experience is preferred
- Certifications: AP/CP board certification required

- Case Logs: Required
- Licensure: IMLC candidates considered
- Credentialing Timeframe: Typically 30 days
