We are seeking a Gastroenterologist for a locum tenens assignment in Michigan. Below are the details of the job: Job Details:- Number of Physicians Requested: 1 (Multiple Providers Accepted)
- Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Plus Call
- EMR Systems: McKesson and Athena
- Setting: Outpatient/Inpatient
- Privileges: Hospital/surgery center privileges required
- Patients Per Shift: Up to 12 for procedures, fewer for inpatient
- Rounding: Both inpatient and outpatient
- Certification: Board Certified/Board Eligible
- Fellowship: Preferred
- Licensure: Must be licensed in Michigan
- Certifications Required: ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS
- Licensing Costs: No reimbursement for licensing costs
- Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days
- Type: Beeper
- Call Response Time Required: 20 minutes
- Call Ratio: On call during the entire assignment
- Locums Call Coverage: Both inpatient and outpatient
- Phone Consults: 2 to 4 per day
- Patients Seen: Up to 12 per day
- Admissions: None; hospitalists admit
