Neuro Epileptologist Locum Needed in IL!
Job Details:
- 7+ shifts per month
- Providers Typical Day: Neuro-Epilepsy Clinic M-F 8-5 There is call to read EMU's
- Provider will know ahead of time if they will be on call for the week.
- Typical Day: Provider will see 8-12 patients a day, review EMU’s and collaborate with Neurological support team.
- Ideally able to read to read cEEGs and LTEEGs, staff the EMU and support the functional neurosurgery program(e.g. brain mapping) and meet residency training requirements
- Experience or willingness to learn the indications and management of VNS, RNS and DBS for epilepsy would be ideal.
- Experience with perioperative stero-electroencephalogram(SEEG) analysis is ideal.
- 3 APP’s and neurological support team are in place to support for epilepsy surgery evaluations
- The practice is growing and looking to refocus on complex patients
- Teaching facility with 16 Neurology Residents
- Illinois Neurological Institute Epilepsy Center is the largest level IV Epilepsy Center outside of Chicago
- 5 Bed EMU
Job Requirements:
- Must be BC in Neuro Epilepsy
- Must have active IL or IMLC license
- DEA and CSR Required
- 7+ shifts per month
Location:
- Central IL
- Short Flight from Chicago
- Teaching Hospital - will schedule far in advance
