Coverage Needed
- Clinic: Monday-Friday, 8am to 4:30pm
- Possible half day off during the week
- Hospital call: some weekday evenings and weekends
- Call Type: Beeper with some consultation
- Average patient census per clinic shift: 15-23
- Night call patient census: 1-2
- Call response time required: 15 minutes
- Call ratio: 1:3
- Board Certification: Required, Eligible
- Fellowship: Preferred
- Require hospital privileges
- Procedures: Consults, follow-ups, possible bone marrow
- Prefer BMT or BMB experience, but can work around
- 2 Full-time Physicians and 2 Full-time APPs in the clinic
- Patient encounters per shift: 18-25
- Average phone consults: 0-3
- Hands-on percentage: 10%
- Hemonc vs. Medical Onc: 40/60
- No acute leukemia or malignant hem
- Hospitalist admits new patients
- Rounding on assigned patients
