Requirements
- Board/certification requirements: Facility requires board certification in specialty (Minimum: Certified)
- State license requirements: Licensed in MD or IMLC
- Privileges/credentialing notes: Hospital/surgery privileges required; temporary privileges NOT available; estimated credentialing timeframe ~60 days
- Insurance/administrative: Insurance provided by vendor
- Support staff provided: RN: 5 (PA/NP/MA/office staff: n/a)
- Other notes: Admissions required; full-time only (no split schedule)
Clinical Details
- Procedures/support/call details: GI procedural scope (upper & lower endoscopy including biopsies/polypectomy, ERCP, EUS, PEG, liver biopsy, Sengstaken–Blakemore management)
- Patients per shift/day: 16

- Admissions/Rounding: Admissions required; rounding: both inpatient and procedures-only (no outpatient clinic)
- Call specifics: Locums call covers both; avg phone consults 3/24h; call back ~15%; admissions ~1/24h
- Additional clinical notes: Full-time, long-term assignment (May–Dec minimum); expected to perform ~14–16 procedures/day
