Coverage Details
- Schedule: 24-hour call coverage; in-house during the day with beeper call-back after hours. Friday–Sunday for four consecutive weekends; start ASAP pending credentialing; end date 05-01-2026
- Patients per shift/day: 15–25
- Coverage type: Call only
- Call details: In-house call with 30-minute response; high-volume phone consults; admissions variable
- Practice setting: Inpatient; rounding required
Requirements
- State license: Florida license required
- Board/certification: Board Certified; fellowship required
- Privileges/credentialing: Temporary privileges available; estimated credentialing timeframe ~30 days
- Life support: ACLS and BLS required
- Admissions: Yes
Clinical Details
- EMR: Cerner
- Trauma level: Level 2 (PEDs Level 0)
- Procedures: Upper and lower GI endoscopy (diagnostic/therapeutic), ERCP, EUS, PEG, esophageal dilation/manometry, small bowel biopsy, colonoscopy with biopsy/polypectomy, liver biopsy, Sengstaken–Blakemore tube management
- Notes: High-volume facility; ERCP and EUS required
