Coverage Details
- Schedule: Mon–Fri day shifts plus nights and weekends for STEMI call; flexible nights (1 night/week), 1 weeknight every 3rd week, and every 3rd weekend (5p–7a)
- Patients per shift/day: 0–4
- Coverage type: Call only
- Call details: Beeper call; 30-minute response time; call ratio 1:3; ~1 phone consult; 0–1 patients seen; admissions 0–4
- Practice setting: Inpatient and outpatient; rounding required
Requirements
- State license: Pennsylvania license required
- Board/certification: Board Certified; fellowship required
- Privileges/credentialing: Hospital/surgery center privileges required; temporary privileges not available; estimated credentialing ~90 days (possible emergency privileges with clean file)
- Life support: ACLS and BLS required
- Admissions: Yes
Clinical Details
- EMR: Epic
- Trauma level: Level 0 (PEDs Level 0)
- Support staff: RN (1), Office staff (2); no APP supervision; no resident/teaching supervision
- Scope: Interventional cardiology coverage including inpatient, ER, and STEMI call
