- 330 Bed hospital
- Hours: 10a-10a 24 hr shifts - non consecutive
- Patient Population: Serving an agriculture area. Of the 5000 total hospital annual births at least 750 to 800 are handled by our hospitalists.
- Current Stats: #deliveries/mo – 60
- #clinic visits/mo – 180 (includes NP visits, doc sees 10-12 patients/session)
- #triage visits/mo – 177
- NICU – Level III
- Requirements: California licensure, Board Certification with a minimum of 2-3 years active experiences.
- EMR: Cerner
- Shift Rotation: F/T on average 7-8 non-consecutive in-house shifts per month
- Duties: High Risk Obstetrical Services
- Responsibilities:
- Shifts are 24 hours in length, the provider must remain in-house during their shift
- Manage unassigned OB patients that present to L&D and the main ER
- Provide coverage of Obstetric emergencies
- Manage unassigned GYN patients that present to the Main ER
- Triage of all unassigned patients and for private physicians when requested
- Perform Antepartum, Post-partun and GYN rounds on unassigned patients that are on the OB/GYN Hospitalist service
- Inpatient consults
